2022 Katnook Founders Block Cabernet Sauvignon

COLOUR: Deep magenta NOSE: A bright, stylish Cabernet Sauvignon that is bursting with cassis, plums and spice. PALATE: The palate reflects the brightness of the aromatics, cassis, satsuma plum are wrapped beautifully by tannins and structure. A subtle hint of spicy French oak adds a little something special. Coonawarra received good winter rains, which set up the vines well for the growing season. Temperatures during the growing season were warm with minimal heat spikes, the steady temperatures continued through vintage. There was minimal vintage rains, which reduced any pressure of disease.
