Concentrated and fragrant. Fresh cherries, red liquorice, musk, violets and spices of star anise & nutmeg dominating the bouquet.
Palate:
A vibrant and concentrated palate of sweet dark cherry, plum skin and mulberry complemented by hints of cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon spice The mid palate is richly textured with layers of flavour leading to a long finish wrapped up in abundant soft and silky tannins.

Winemakers Note
Established in 1838 by John Reynell, the Reynella winery enjoys the
unrivalled prestige of the birthplace of South Australia’s internationally
renowned wine industry, and is the proud home of the State’s oldest
operating wine cellar.
Small parcels of predominantly bush vine grown fruit form the highly
acclaimed McLaren Vale region were selected for this traditional
Grenache. The grapes were hand-picked and fermented in traditional
open fermenters. Once the desired fruit intensity was achieved, the skins
were basket pressed ensuring only the soft tannins were extracted. The
