Tasting Notes
Remarkable lifted floral nose with iron filings, blue and black fruits aniseed and chocolate. The palate has a lovely crunch of acidity with an almost cranberry like character.
Winemakers Note
2021 WAS A SUPERB VINTAGE CHARACTERISED BY HEALTHY SPRING RAINFALL AND PERFECT EVEN but warm RIPENING CONDITIONS THROUGH TO AUTUMN. interestingly the vintage was characterised by ripe fruit at very low sugar concentrations. subsequently the wine is a relatively low 12.8% alc.
