A top value Cabernet from the Limestone Coast thanks to fermentation in stainless steel open fermenters for a week, followed by nine months in older French oak barriques and hogsheads. Blood maroon in colour, the nose is redolent of raspberries and redcurrants, mulberries and even a whiff of boysenberries. Medium length on the palate, with plenty of grip, this is attractive drinking now and for the next five to six years. Impressive value.

A sharply priced cabernet sauvignon that hails from the Limestone Coast region. Blackberry, blackcurrant and macerated blood-plum fruits along with hints of spice, dried herbs, licorice, blackcurrant and earth. Medium bodied with tight, appley acidity, light powdery tannins and a snappy, lively feel in the mouth. Solid sub-$20 drinking with plenty of cabernosity for the price.
