Aromatics: Fine notes of peach, quince, citrus and smoky notes. Palate: Powerful and rich; La Ciste have great fleshy texture and a beautiful acidity from its terroir and elevation. Ripe pears and peach on the palate. Mineral and salty driven finish.

Winemakers Note
High elevation cool climate vineyard (500 meters), 45 years old vines. The vines sit on acidic terroir made of gneiss and broken-down granite with some pockets of quartz. Hand harvested, low yields. Natural yeast fermentation, malolactic fermentation, vinification and ageing in barrels on the lees (demi-muits). Minimal intervention in the cellar. Low sulphur.
