For some reason Ive not reviewed the Estate Cabernet since the 2016 vintage. Rich blackcurrant and blackberry, black olive, a little cedar oak in tow. Its full-bodied, but balanced, plenty of savoury kind of ferrous Cabernet flavour, some nougat too, some brine, thick stony tannin, and a robust finish of good length. Its a bold wine, and quite serious, also, its very good.

A decadent and lustrous crimson. Fine aromas of maritime cabernet, pointed and considerably refined for a wine at this price. Kelp, green olive, sage and currant are saturated, fulsome and expansive across the palate. Fine length due to a poised tannic kit, savvy oak handling and a stream of salty freshness. A bargain.
