Attractive blackcurrant and walnut character with some mineral and spice. Medium body. Fine tannins. Fresh finish. Not a big wine, but shows finesse and focus for the vintage.

Dark garnet, opaque core, purple rim with ocher hues. Delicate black cherry fruit, hints of blackberry and liquorice, candied orange zest. Medium-bodied, red berry fruit, well-integrated tannins, fresh finish, nice length.

Georgina Hindle - Decanter

Quite dry from the off, but it's a chalky, mineral and salty tang rather than a rustic one. Mouthfilling and chewy with sofly plump, fleshy fruit and a good delivery of cool blueberry and black bramble fruits. Nicely refined and presented with plenty of easy-drinking appeal, lively acidity and a lightly lifted finish. Part of this year's successful Bernard Magrez stable.
