2020 Monbousquet

The red wines produced on this exceptional "terroir" of this estate of 33 hectares in one block are rich, with a great complexity, with aromas of ripe fruit. Geological characteristics Covering 32 hectares, the soils are extremely various: - sand and clay-sand with iron between 60 and 80 cm ; - gravel-sand ; - sandy-clay. Growing methods Pruned to six spurs for old vines and two for young ones, green harvesting, leaf thinning, as well as picking and sorting by hand. Vinification The wine is kept on the skins for 5 weeks in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Maturing In 50 % new oak and 50 % one-wine wooden barrels. Final blend at bottling time.
