2020 Les Pélerins de Lafon Rochet

6 x 750ml

Winemakers Note

Lafon Rochet, a new era has begun Lafon Rochet, Grand Cru Classé in 1855, stands out on the road to the Médoc with its well-known golden yellow façade. In September 2021, a new chapter in the history of this Saint-Estèphe estate began. The Lorenzetti family, another committed and dynamic family, bought the estate with the ambition to carry its famous colors high. In March 2022, Christophe Congé was appointed General Manager of Lafon Rochet. After having spent more than 20 years at Domaines Barons de Rothschild, his main mission will be to go even further in the sense of detail. A new era full of ambition and with great promise is beginning for this grand cru. Les Pèlerins de Lafon-Rochet, the estate’s second wine, is made from younger vines, and those within plots of land with predominantly clay and gravel soils.
