On the nose, aromas of black fruits, such as dark plums, and subtle notes of violet and eucalyptus. The wine is a deep ruby red in colour, with a violet hue. On the palate, an intense, velvety texture is complemented by flavours of ripe blackberry and cassis, with an underlying herbal and tobacco smokiness. Fine tannins and a crisp acidity provide a balanced finish.
