Deep ruby, opaque core, purple reflections brightening on the rim. A restrained nose, delicate tobacco underpinning ripe plum fruit, a touch of nougat and candied orange zest. Juicy, fine cherry fruit, integrated tannins, elegant, open and with good length; promising and already accessible.

A solid St-Julien, plenty of rich black fruits and some kick through the palate in terms of its juice and turmeric spice notes. Good stuff, but a little less generous in structure than the past two vintages.

This shows notes of black and blue fruits, dark spices, cedar, walnut and some violets. Medium body. Firm and chewy with a juicy dark fruit backbone. Fine-grained and velvety texture with a lingering finish. Drink after 2024.
