A very solid red with blackberry and purple fruit, as well as some ink and stone undertones. Full-to medium-bodied with a creamy and firm tannin texture.
Good structure with forward motion - this has juice and black fruits. It picks up speed as it goes and then slows down with limestone slate and salinity on the close of play giving an enjoyable sense of pace. Harvest began September 17 under 37°C temperatures (hotter even than the same day when they began in 2003). Stéphane Derenoncourt consultant. First vintage certified organic with Ecocert. Owned by Jean-Francis Pécresse, director of Radio Classique and journalist at Les Échos.
Blueberries, ripe blackberries, hot chocolate and rosemary on the nose. From organically grown grapes. Full-bodied with firm, chewy tannins. Solid and a little rustic. Merlot and cabernet franc. Better in 2025.
