2020 Beaumont

WEATHER CONDITIONS After a mild and dry winter, it's a wet and warm spring that starts. These weather conditions set the tone for this year and let an early vintage be seen. The few short episodes of cool and wet weather in April and May have not been enoughto slow down the development cycle. The year continues with a particularly hot and dry summer, accompanied by wind. These weather conditions will impact our yields, slightly lower than previous years, but they will mainly allow us to harvest grapes with a very nice concentration. THE HARVEST The harvest was very early, spreading over two weeks in September. The grapes thus harvested are balanced and well concentrated. CHÂTEAU BEAUMONT 2020 Château Beaumont 2020 is characterized by very nice fruit notes, a beautiful concentration that makes it a full wine. The Merlots have a very nice ripe fruit, the Cabernet Sauvignon are powerful with fine tannins and the Petit Verdots, in large amounts on this vintage, bring lots of black fruits and freshness.
