It's somewhat eyebrow-raising to have 'certified sustainable' stamped on a bottle which comes in at 50g shy of 2kgs. That isn't sustainable. However, the wine is excellent. Deep, rich and powerful. It has a vibrancy, it's floral and full of beautiful fruit. Full bodied, with a plushness and an abundance of ripe tannins. The length is superb. The most complete and balanced Surveyor to date. Tasting Notes
A complex nose with alluring dark mint, five-spice, and blackcurrants. Stylish, yet wonderfully intense wine. Lovely youthful tannins, oak, and dark ripe fruits, over a richly, structured finish.
Winemakers Note
Only the finest parcels of our Cabernet are selected, and after crushing are hand plunged. Once pressed, the wine is matured in 100% new French Oak where it develops in complexity.
