2018 Poderi Luigi Einaudi Barolo DOCG Bussia

APPEARANCE: The particular mineral component of the Bussia terroir gives the wine great structure and intense color. AROMA: Scents of red fruits such as raspberry and very ripe pomegranate. PALATE: Clear and enveloping tannins with a long and consistent aftertaste, paired with spicy and balsamic notes.

The 2018 vintage benefited from a long and rainy winter: temperatures below the average of recent years allowed a slow and gradual vegetative restart of the vine, without spring frosts. Thanks to frequent rainfall and not too high temperatures, flowering and fruit set took place regularly and in optimal climatic conditions, without any thinning.
