Tasting Notes
Aromatics: Hazelnuts, cumin spices, red apple, oxidative sherry-like notes as well as cheesy aromas. Palate: Powerful, rich texture, red apples, white fruits, spicy. Long mineral finish.
Winemakers Note
Grey and bleu marl terroir. Vineyard planted in 1930, 90 years old vines, hand harvested later than the other vineyards. Aging in 230 liters oak barrels as well as 600 liters demi muid for 3 to 4 years. Not topped up. This is Jura's Savagnin that taste like baby Vin Jaune!
