2016 Fourcas Dupré

Located in the high point of the Medoc , in the AOC of Listrac, Fourcas Dupré has asserted itself as one of the leaders of the appellation , and clearly one of the best bargains . Ghislain and Patrice Pagès run the vineyard with a consistent effort in improving the quality and respecting the very qualitative terroir of the estate. Fourcas Dupré was classified until 2006 as “Cru Bourgeois Supérieur”. With the disappearance of this ranking after 2006, Ghislain and Patrice chose not to present their wine to the Cru Bourgeois Label, like many of the former top Cru Bourgeois Supérieurs chose to do. Fourcas Dupré is one of the few Cru Bourgeois which is part of the Union des Grands Crus.
