A little volatile and funky, with notes of fig and date partnering nutty, caramelised and slightly oxidised elements. Pleasant for drinking now.
Refined and delicate, with warm toffee and crème caramel aromas enhanced by touches of dried fruits, nuts and spice. Rich and pungent, with a long, sweeping palate possessing fabulous acidity and flavours of apricot, walnut and pungent toffee, leading to a gracious finish.
A beautiful and gracious interpretation of 10 year old Tawny style. Waves of gingery spice, dried peel and old wood with a fruit cake character flow through the nose and palate. The palate is rich and silky with a mellifluous finish.

Winemakers Note
Warre’s OTIMA 10 Year Old undergoes fermentation with natural yeast at between 24 to 28ºC. Once the must has fermented to the desired degree of sweetness (usually within 48 hours), fortification takes place with grape brandy at 77% v/v (generally 80% must / 20% brandy)
