Z Wines is a Barossa-based sister duo that produces modern, elegant wines. This Chardonnay hails from the cooler Eden Valley and exhibits wonderful nectarine aromas. It's vegan friendly, sourced from single-vineyard, picked by hand and then fermented wild (on natural yeasts).The palate is rich and round and would pair perfectly with roast chicken.
Beautifully composed and styled, the wine shows ripe stone fruit, grapefruit, nougat and roasted cashew nuances, followed by a finely expressed palate offering creamy texture and bright acidity. Very floral nose, jasmine, green tea, rose petal, lime etc. Palate is very clean and crisp, with a nice oatmeal texture from complimenting oak. The oak provides more of a structural role than flavour. Great tropical fruit penetration on the finish
Beeswax and hay on the nose, the palate continues with the hay and grain quality like rolled oats, come creamy lemon curd and peachy nectarine fruit quality., medium plus body, with medium finish.
