The white blend 'egg' is equivalent to the hyper-detailed Ovitelli Grenache, and it follows suit with equal amounts of personality and pep. This wine is a mix of 58% Grenache Blanc, 24% Roussanne, 8% Grenache Gris, 5% Bourboulenc, and 5% Clairette. Some of the Grenache and Clairette grapes were left on their skins in concrete eggs for 120 days, while the rest were pressed whole and also sent to eggs; 59% of the final blend had skin contact. It’s made using organic and biodynamic methods. The skin contact really brings out the wine’s intricate flavours. Method in the madness? It's an other-worldly experience, that's for sure. Barley, tea leaves, honeyed wax and white flowers - it puckering, yet mouth-filling, a textural nirvana waiting to soften and blossom. time.

Light straw-yellow hue. Ripe pear, almond meal and north African spices all show on the nose and palate. A savoury and delightful wine that glides and flows through all the corners of the mouth. Finely structured, both acid and tannins working their magic to ensure great length and focus. It's very intriguing and evolves in the glass. A wine that is built for matching with food
