2021 Ravensworth Project C Oxidation Chardonnay 1500mL

Project C as in chardonnay, made in 3 styles (reductive, oxidative and on skins). This in the oxidative iteration, vinified in a new French oak puncheon, and while there is no S02, there is no flor but a level of aldehydes. Maybe this will be the most ‘out there’ wine for those unfamiliar with the style. For those who are on board – rock on. It’s a mid gold hue, full of lemon barley water, a peach-fuzz texture, with crunchy acidity and a nice length of tannin.
