From an elevated 1976-planted site in Dixon's Creek. A medium deep and bright green gold. An interesting contrast to the A7 Chardonnay, also from Dixon's Creek, this has a little more of everything. Stone and orchard fruits, marine scents and a little matchstick can all be found on the nose, while the palate is simultaneously textured, layered and structured. A touch closed today, I can see this blossoming over the next six to 18 months.
