Tasting Notes
Ripe fruit, floral and spice aromas dominate the nose of the Katherineís Vineyard Chardonnay. Grapefruit, pineapple, white peach, citrus blossom, and apple flavors are balanced by a bit of wet stone, subtly oak spice and bright acid.

The oak inuence creates a nice mid-palate that balances nicely with the bright acidity that lingers.” – Jill Russell, Winemaker K ATHERINE’S VINEYAR D Katherine’s Vineyard, named for Katie Jackson in 1986, consists of ancient soils with fossilized seashells, shale, limestone and sand, with fog swept vines that have endured since the 1970s.
Whole cluster pressed; 65% barrel fermented with malolactic fermentation. 35% stainless steel fermented, no malolactic fermentation. Aged sur lie for 5.5 months in 20% new oak and racked out of barrels for blending and bottling. 85% of this wine is from old vines planted in the 70s.
