2017 Kaesler Alte Reben Shiraz

Brilliant complexity on the nose, showing dark skinned fruit, blood plum, beetroot and berries. Deep in the glass is ripe boysenberry, blackberry. with hints of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and flint. Full bodied and intriguing, with warm chocolate soufflé and plum confit finishing with perfectly integrated mineral tannins. This wine is rich, elegant and rewarding.

Kaesler Wines, home to some of the Barossa Valley’s most highly regarded estate grown premium wines including The Old Bastard Shiraz, Old Vine Shiraz, Avignon Grenache / Mourvèdre and The Bogan Shiraz. The Kaesler family were pioneers who settled in the Barossa Valley in the 1840s and planted their first vines in 1893. To this day, Kaesler wines are made from these ancient, dry grown vineyards.
