Tasting Notes
The bouquet has vitality, showing the expected elements of lemongrass, freshly cut hay and scented soap. Those characters are reprised on the palate which is perfectly poised; fresh and textured and long. Cellaring recommended, but a pleasure to drink now.
Winemakers Note
The top-end price tag has to be considered as it inevitably sets the bar high for this wine. Without question it exhibits all the attributes of an outstanding young Hunter semillon.
