2010 Domaine du Salvard AOC Cheverny Blanc l'Heritiere

we have turned our attention to Salvard's terrific value AOC Cheverny wines. L'Heritiere is Salvards funky old-vine/low yield bottling. As with the regular Cherveny it's roughly 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Chardonnay, all hand harvested, from the Estate's oldest, limestone rooted vines. Both varieties are barrel fermented separately before blending and it is bottled unfiltered. A captivating, exotic white Loire.
