The Gin Masters at PLC have crafted a unique blend with their Prohibition Shiraz Barrel Aged Gin. They start by aging 60% of their original gin in custom-made barrels, previously used for American bourbon and Barossa Valley Shiraz, which are then re-charred to create new depth of flavour.
The resulting overproof spirit is a beautiful blush colour and boasts a silky smooth texture. Its taste is a subtle balance of gentle Shiraz notes and rich oaked rye back-notes. While the Gin maintains the signature vanilla and floral flavours of PLC gins, it also packs a punch. Enjoy it straight over ice, with soda, or as a perfect addition to your favourite cocktail!
