Tellurian Vermentino 2023

Vermentino is an Italian varietal finding it's home in Heathcote and some of the warmer sites of Australia, due to its ability to retain acidity in such a climate. A versatile grape high in acidity, our philosophy with Vermentino is to create a wine of depth, with mostly tank fermentation to preserve the crunchy fruit, battonage and a small portion of old oak is also employed for nuance and longevity.

Picked and pressed to tank where the juice was settled before being racked to a combination of stainless steel tanks and older barrels. Fermented using selected yeast. Aged on yeast lees for 4 months prior to bottling.
