2022 Tellurian Marsanne

Tellurian Marsanne is picked later in the season where Heathcote’s warm days and cool nights helps to capture the expressive flavour offered by this variety. Whilst some early picked examples of this variety can cellar very well, Tellurian Marsanne is made as early drinking style, to showcase the best of its flavour and texture.

Hand picked grapes were harvested early in the morning then de-stemmed pressed direct to tank. Juice was settled for 24 hours and racked while still cloudy before being inoculated with a select strain of yeast. The juice was then transferred to seasoned French oak barrels for fermentation
