Scents of honeysuckle, pink grapefruit, lime pickle, flavours leaning into that pink grapefruit bitterness in the most pleasing sense. Lemons and limes with tropical undertones of lychee and stone fruit. Fresh, with taut acidity a balanced and structured palate which if carefully cellared will age gracefully.
Winemakers Note
The Stonehorse wines are full of character like the teams of Clydesdale horses that used to work the heavy clay soil, long before tractors were invented. An assemblage of estate vineyards ranging in age from 26 to 56 years in age.
