Ornellaia 2022 375ml 12 Pack

Ornellaia: Excellence, Beauty, and the Creative Spirit of Tuscany. Since 1982, Ornellaia has been crafting one of the world’s greatest wines, driven by the Frescobaldi family and a deeply rooted Tuscan pursuit of excellence. Its Mediterranean-influenced style is a pure expression of an exceptional terroir, where a rich mosaic of marine, alluvial, and volcanic soils enhances the complexity of both red and white grape varieties. Born from the harmony of nature and expertise, Ornellaia evolves under the influence of a finely balanced microclimate. A long, carefully controlled ageing process allows it to reach its full potential, gradually revealing finesse, depth, and generosity over time. The 2022 Vintage: "La Determinazione" The climate of 2022 was characterized by a typical winter followed by a cool, dry spring. A long dry period in the summer tested the vines, but summer storms revived the ripening of the berries. Harvesting began on August 25 with the Merlot, continued in September with the Cabernet Sauvignon, and concluded on October 10. Ornellaia 2022 embodies determination in the face of climatic challenges, offering an elegant and powerful wine. Tasting notes The 2022 vintage opens with an expressive bouquet of black fruits, vanilla, and tobacco. On the palate, it is expansive and generous, with a powerful tannic structure and a persistent finish. Despite the heatwaves, this vintage retains elegance and liveliness.
