Château Coutet 2022 375ml 12 Pack

Château Coutet, a flagship of the Barsac appellation Château Coutet is a historic vineyard located in the Barsac appellation. Its medieval architecture dates back to the 13th century, but its winemaking reputation dates to the 17th century. In 1855, Château Coutet was classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé of Sauternes and Barsac, a recognition of the exceptional quality of its wines. Its unique terroir stands out for its cool soils. The vines then express this coolness by producing this rich and lively wine. In 1977, the Baly family purchased the estate and modernized its winemaking techniques. In 1994, the family signed a partnership agreement with Baron Philippe de Rothschild to benefit from their expertise in winemaking and marketing. Today, Aline Baly, the granddaughter of Marcel Baly, is the third generation to participation in the family adventure. On the palate, the very powerful and remarkably complex attack makes an immediate impression, with freshness offsetting the power and heft of this beautifully balanced wine.
