Chateau Tronquoy Lalande Blanc de Tronquoy 2023 1500ml 3 Pack

Château Tronquoy, a fine dining white wine. True to the unconventional spirit that drives the leaders of Tronquoy, Jean Bernard Delmas decided in 2011 to plant white grape varieties on some of the vineyard's best terroirs. Today, the white vines cover 1.8 hectares. This wine is crafted in the Burgundian style, with full barrel fermentation, lees stirring, and lees work. It is blended with Sémillon and Sauvignon Gris grapes. The 2023 Vintage: A vintage of changing sky 2023 was punctuated by rainy weather throughout the growing season. The terroir of Tronquoy showed great resilience and the harvest was healthy and generous. Under mild, temperate skies, the berries gradually gained concentration. The heatwave in late August allowed the grapes to reach optimal ripeness. The estate's full of character grape varieties showed remarkable delicacy. Tasting notes: The Blanc de Tronquoy 2023 stands out by the tension and elegant minerality of its Sauvignon Gris. Pursuing the mission of its founder, the estate frees itself from conventions and surprises with singular grape varieties. It is in the unexpected that Tronquoy thrives the most.
