The 2023 Pinot Noir Single Vineyard Queensberry is a real mouthful with purity, tension and texture. The perfumed bouquet delivers florals, pure youthful fruit and toasty spiced oak (11 months, 24% new). There is concentration and richness here with an appetizing chew to the tannins. Tea leaves and exotic spices mingle with damson fruit on the long finish. The 2023 is likely to improve with another one to two years in bottle before embarking on its evolution.
