Chateau Le Boscq 2021 375ml 12 Pack

Château Le Boscq in Saint-Estèphe, has been classified ‘Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel’, in the 2020 Cru Bourgeois Classification for Médoc wines. After 25 years of leasing, we are since January 2022 owners of this magnificient Château, with great ambitions for the future... Located on a premium terroir bordering the Gironde estuary, Château Le Boscq is a rare gem. Characterful Saint-Estèphe, it allies with great elegance the power of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot with the finesse of Merlot, which is unusual for the appellation. These age-worthy wines are delicate and well-balanced. Tasting note - 2021 vintage: « Intensely deep and concentrated. The complex nose offers hallmark aromas of cigar box and white pepper, together with a hint of fresh wild berries. Instantly velvety, and becoming more full-bodied, the breadth of which is underpinned by a concentrated, enveloping tannic frame. This is a harmonious wine, once again revealing the powerful nature of the terroir at Château Le Boscq. Fresh and remarkably long on the finish.! » Frédéric Bonnaffous, Dourthe Chief Winemaker (May 2022) Environmental commitment: Terra Vitis & HVE3 (High Environmental Value) « fabulous » and « screaming value »  by Antonio Galloni ( Vinous)
