The grenache here was sourced from a stellar single vineyard (Stonegarden) east of Springton in Eden Valley, planted in 1858. The '24 vintage is a strong one, with ripe, red plum, red cherry and raspberry tones, hints of Medina spice, meadow flowers, ginger cake, cherry cola, crushed rocks, amaro herbs, wood spice and turned earth. Purely fruited and spicy, sporting a bright mineral energy and a long stretch of flavour on the exit.
