Coonawarra Cabernet which has been sourced from selected growers, this is from an excellent vintage for the region and represents good buying. Maroon with a deep crimson rim, the nose exhibits notes of spices, tobacco leaves, chocolate, kirsch, coffee beans, licorice and cocoa powder. A wine of medium length with powdery tannins on the finish, there is good persistence and a fine line of acidity running the length. The wine has good focus and will continue to improve over the next ten years. Good value and certainly an above average choice for your next gourmet barbecue.

Beautifully fruited and inviting, the bouquet presents blackcurrant, sweet cherry, green olive, and toasted almond characters. The palate is equally appealing with lovely weight and a plump mouthfeel, beautifully framed by chalky tannins, making it sturdy and persistent.

Sourced from various vineyards throughout the Limestone Coast region, the colour of the wine is a deep blood red with a garnet rim. On the nose we have notes of bay leaves, warm earth, chocolate, cold tea, plums, mushrooms and licorice. A savoury style of medium length, it does fade towards the finish, with the flavours largely upfront. Finishes with fine tannins and should provide pleasure over the next four years.
