Grand Puy Ducasse 2022 6 Pack

Grand-Puy Ducasse, the Renaissance of a Grand Cru Classé The origins of this Grand Cru Classé in 1855 date back to 1675. In 2004, Crédit Agricole acquired the Château. With its 60 parcels spread throughout the Pauillac appellation, Grand Puy Ducasse presents a singular diversity of terroirs. The constant progression of the quality of this wine has been noticed for more than 10 years. In 2021, the Renaissance project was launched, which includes the construction of a new vat room, new cellars and a new tourist experience on the docks of Pauillac, on its original land. This renaissance is symbolized by a new label starting from the 2020 vintage. The 2022 vintage, a unique vintage in the history of the cru It is the last vintage to have been vinified in the provisional vat room of Grand-Puy Ducasse, and the first to be bottled in the new facilities of the Château on the quays of Pauillac, the place where the wines of Grand-Puy Ducasse have been vinified for over two hundred years. This vintage is also the very first to include Petit Verdot in the blend of the Grand Vin. 2% is enough to give this new vintage the powdery notes of violets and spices characteristics of this grape variety.
