Malbec is clearly well suited to Frankland, and this wine has been a consistent winner for Ferngrove. The nose is immediately striking with red fruits, a touch of vanilla essence and blue-fruited mulberry notes. The palate is soft and supple with a generous plumpness, yet supported by fine chalky tannins. A light cedary touch adds complexity to the finish, and the balance is impeccable. If you’re serious about malbec, this wine is a must.

Mike Bennie - Halliday Wine Companion
A very delicious, rich and round malbec, doing what it should in plummy fruit, chocolatey generosity, detail in sage leaf herbal character, a bit of sweet earthiness and some sea spray and graphite mineral qualities in tow. Lush and lovely, yet controlled, too, a compact and yet commanding, lengthy finish a nice flourish. A very serious malbec.
