Deep red colour, with a subtle purple tint. It smells of blackberry, cassis and vanilla, the palate elegantly-weighted and nicely balanced, with ample soft tannins and lots of mulberry fruit flavour. A stylish cabernet, softer and less formidable than they used to be. But still ageworthy.

Elegant to a fault. It's very easy to drink, with virtually no tannins to deal with, just red fruits to enjoy. Difficult to see how the leopard will change its spots.
