Buontalenti Chianti Classico DOCG 2023 6 Pack

92 POINTS

Gary Walsh - The Wine Front

I reckon I’m sent nearly as many Italian wines as local ones these days. Was it something that I said? Cherry, raspberry, blonde tobacco, five spice and mint. It’s medium-bodied, red fruits with a nutty flavour, a cinch of dried herb and orange peel, balanced acidity, a light grainy grip to tannin, finishing with good length, a little pencil shavings in the aftertaste. Nice wine here. Touch and go for 93 points.
