From 40 year old vines with alluvial stones covered in calcaire. The wine is intense and energetic, high pitched and lively, round and austere, refined and mineral. It has a dry mouthfeel and a saltiness natural to the area. 20% in concrete eggs, 15% in stainless steel & the remainder is new and used french oak for 10 month.

No frost this vintage, unlike the last two. Not warm not cold. No malo. 10% new oak. Highly perfumed, almond meal, honey florals, white peach, a little biscuit spice and matchstick, subtle but pleasant green tones. Light in body, cool acidity, pink grapefruit and white nectarine, some saline savoury things, quite flinty, honey almond perfume and cucumber on a long finish. A striking wine combining delicacy with flavour, and more importantly you can drink the hell out of it.

The 2025 Mainqué Chardonnay combines five vineyards situated on sandy soils, including the estate Lunita site, each vinified separately and matured predominantly in oak barrels, along with amphora and stainless steel for 11 months. A radiant nose combines a core of tropical citrus with fresh herbs and floral overtones, followed by a beautifully textured mouthfeel that perfectly balances lush texture with spry energy. It concludes with a similarly lifted finish that echoes with lovely nuance and a discreet lees-derived richness.
