Immensely complex and enticing, the wine shows dark fruit intensity, clove, cinnamon, liquorice, dark cocoa, and cedar characters on the nose. The concentrated palate displays a plush mouthfeel, backed by refined texture and fine-grained tannins, finishing impressively long and sturdy.

Ken Gargett - Winepilot

From one of the really great vintages for the region, this is a very dark magenta hue. The nose reveals notes of mocha, blackberries, chocolate, bay leaves, graphite, soy and cloves. The oak is beautifully integrated and there is such impressive length. Plush, approachable, generous and quite luscious, this has a sleek texture and silky tannins. It will handle the next fifteen years with ease. The pedigree of the vintage shines through here. Seriously good buying.
