At first I thought it
"At first I thought it was Sauvignon Blanc. Lots of fruit on the nose and enough acid to make it very drinkable."
Limestone Coast Pinot Gris has been on a tear lately taking the spotlight away from the more well known Gris hotspots of Victoria's high counrtry. And this wine, once you see its school inspired label has been the one leading the charge. It’s picked up a gold medal, scored 93 points from Sam Kim, and somehow still only costs a fraction of the RRP.
Expect a frisky little Gris that is bright and crisp, with notes of nashi pear, melon, lime lead and ginger snap cookie. It’s fresh, fine, and zippy to finish – a proper surprise in the glass.
