Tasting Notes

Pale straw gold, clear and bright. Peach, vanilla and nectarine, layered and expressive. Rich and creamy, with fruit acidity poised to keep the wine graceful rather than heavy. The oak is present but beautifully integrated, adding texture without ever asserting itself.

Product Highlights

Every great wine begins in a vineyard. Some begin somewhere truly extraordinary.

This is the 2025 Chardonnay from a celebrated Tasmanian estate in the Coal River Valley, overlooking the waters of Pittwater and neighboured by the likes of Frogmore Creek and Meadowbank. It is a site shaped by water and patience in equal measure, where the vines are given time to ripen slowly, evenly, and with quiet precision.

Over the past decade, this estate has become one of Tasmania's most awarded, its wines earning more than forty major show trophies and the title of Champion Wine of Show on multiple occasions. This Chardonnay carries that same lineage: peach, vanilla and nectarine, a rich and expansive palate, and oak folded in with real restraint.

It is, quite simply, a wine that could not have come from anywhere else.
