2021, the arrival of the Lorenzetti family Lafon Rochet, Grand Cru Classé in 1855, stands out on the road to the Médoc with its well-known golden yellow façade. A color that is both bold and warm, and which rightly represents the values of Michel, and his son Basile, Tesseron. In September 2021, a new chapter in the history of this Saint-Estèphe estate began. The Lorenzetti family, another committed and dynamic family, bought the estate with the ambition to carry its famous colors high. Under the Tesseron's era, the estate was back in the spotlight. Many things are being put in place on this exceptional terroir of Saint-Estephe, including an ambitious agro ecological program: planting of more than 3500 trees and shrubs in the vineyard between 2020 and 2022 and the planting of more than 4kms of hedges. The property has also launched its conversion to organic farming . Sharing the same values of respect for the land entrusted to them and the men who shape it, the Lorenzetti family wishes to pursue this demanding approach with passion and determination. In March 2022, Christophe Congé was appointed General Manager of Lafon Rochet . After having spent more than 20 years at Domaines Barons de Rothschild, his main mission will be to go even further in the sense of detail.
