This wine was harvested using a selective harvester meaning all the leaves and stalks are left in the vineyard and only the pure fruit is brought into the winery. The fruit was harvested in the cool of the night in March and taken straight to the winery which is only about 200 metres away. The wine was then fermented with yeast chosen to promote aromatics, especially citrus characters. The wine was matured
in majority older French oak barrels called puncheons (500l).

This wine is a brilliant straw yellow colour. The aroma bursts with citrus flavours of orange and fragrant lemon, followed by apple, peach and hints of oak and dried coconut. The palate is silky and medium weight with a medley of stone fruit and citrus, and a hint of almond and lemon grass on the finish.
Paired perfectly with Pan-fried whiting fillets with roast potatoes and lashings of garlic butter...yum!
