Product Highlights
With Burge family fruit and a Winemaker of the Year behind it, this was never going to be just another GSM.
Crafted in collaboration with our Tasting Panel, this 2022 Limited Release GSM from Corryton Burge was blended with your taste in mind. Every swirl of fruit, every hit of spice, benchmarked to match the calibre of a trophy or gold-medal winning release.
It took a few goes to get this right, but the final result is something we’re all seriously proud of.
”Intense musky plum, blackberry aromas with roasted walnut notes. Sweet fruited wine with lovely pure musky plum, black berry fruits and plentiful juicy acidity. Classic GSM. Really delicious.”
95 Points - Andrew Caillard MW
Leading the charge at Corryton Burge is Matt Pellew, named Barossa Winemaker of the Year in 2022. With decades of Barossa know-how and access to some top-shelf parcels, Matt’s shaped this into the kind of wine you’d happily pay a lot more than the ticketed price.
The Barossa Valley is famous for making GSM blends, in which the three varieties make for an often more compelling proposition. This blend perfectly applies - it’s got juicy Grenache, structured, vibrant Shiraz, and earthy complexity from Mataro.
With 95 points from Master of Wine Andrew Caillard and no shortage of people in the trade who’d love to get their hands on a wine like this, it’s Barossa value done right.
