Deep nose, but also precise and nuanced, with high-grade cigar box, fresh red berries, currants, charcoal, grilled meat and olives. Fine cocoa bean and mint, too. Ultra-fine and polished with a very precise, rather linear palate for cabernet. Precise, restrained, classy and long with a hint of creme de cassis in the end. 100% cabernet sauvignon.

Georgina Hindle - Decanter
Gorgeous nose with tobacco, cherry and strawberry nuances, incredibly aromatic. Beautifully textured and supremely balanced, so smooth with tannins that are there but fine and gently supporting the fruit. Everything in balance. Coffee, cinnamon, liquorice, all gentle and nuanced just giving the small details. Feels well controlled and purposeful. There is concentration no doubt but this has exceptional acidity, fruit forwardness, concentration and poise. A full bodied wine with plenty going on but finessed with a real sense of class to it. Delicious and so drinkable even now. Ageing 22 months in French oak barrels (75% new) and 25% foudres.

Robert Parker Wine Advocate
The 2020 Viñedo Chadwick fermented in stainless steel and concrete or troncoconic vats, and this year more of the wine matured in Stockinger foudre—more than 25% of the volume—for 22 months. They did a softer extraction to compensate for the warmer year, and the moderate alcohol helped to keep the oak extraction to a minimum; as a result, the wine comes through as very harmonious and elegant. It has good ripeness and an absence of herbal and minty aromas; the wine from older vines behaves better—the grapes ripen and the alcohol (with good management of the irrigation) with moderate yields produce this unique Cabernet. The palate is round and velvety, keeping very good freshness and a texture and mouthfeel that does not reflect a warmer year at all. This is delicate and juicy with very good intensity of fruit and no room for sweetness or over-ripeness. A triumph over the natural conditions of the year. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled the 1st of February 2022.

Peter Moser - Falstaff
Dark ruby with purple reflections and good depth, subtly lighter at the rim. Subtle smoky notes and a subtle hint of plum framed by coffee aromas. Dense on the palate, with juicy, almost lush fruit and tannins that are powerful, soft, fine and ripe as well as surrounded by freshness. Structure, fruit and freshness harmonize to create a promising, balanced and elegant food companion with potential for years of ageing.

Just a subtle note of plummy ripeness peeps through the smokiness on the nose, edged by a hint of coffee. The palate is dense, with juicy, almost luscious fruit and tannins that are bold, smooth, fine and ripe. This is a big wine but framed in freshness. Structure, fruit and freshness harmonise to present a most promising, balanced, elegant wine.

Ines Salpico - Decanter
A deep, dense wine, that calls for a contemplative approach, allowing it to open in the glass. Intriguing nose with vibrant red fruit (cherry, plum, cranberries), orange peel, graphite, cocoa nibs and a subtle herbal touch. Gravelly, chalky tannic structure, with an enticing zesty pull on the back palate. The fleshy, compact fruit core of red plum, stewed red apple, pomegranate and ripe raspberry is lifted by a vibrant acid backbone. Great energy throughout, with a delicious iodine edge on the long finish.

Jesica Vargas - Wine Enthusiast
Complex and elegant, this premium wine from Puente Alto in Maipo Valley opens with aromas of blackberry, cherry and thyme. It's full bodied with a mineral character and energetic acidity. Honest strawberry and red-plum flavors combine on the juicy midpalate and linger throughout the finish with light notes of mint and tobacco.
