2020 Cruzelles

In 2000, Denis Durantou vinified Château Les Cruzelles for the first time in the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, where the quality of the terroirs had enabled him to create La Chenade five years earlier. The Durantou family also owns L'Eglise-Clinet. All in one piece, with the exclusivity of the locality "Les Cruzelles", its 10 hectares of clay-gravelly soil - identical terroir to the Pomerol plateau - are located one kilometer as the crow flies from the Château L'Eglise-Clinet. The vineyard was replanted with a planting density greater than 8000 vines per hectare and a classic grape variety for the right bank of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.
